 There is plenty to do and see within easy reach of Le Jarrier.  Below is just a few of the wide range of attractions and visitor sites within easy reach.
bulletThe nearby village of St Leonard du Bois is in the picturesque ALPES MANCELLES “Parc naturel regional” and in addition to Canoeing and a range of walks it offers a popular visitor attraction for those with no fear of heights – “Adventure in the Trees”.

 LE MANS is the capital of the region and has many attractions including the very popular Musee Automobile de la Sarthe, where you will find a history of the fabulous Le Mans 24 hour race and world famous racing circuit. Le Mans is also the best preserved medieval town centre in France and there is a weekly Sunday market. 

bulletSituated near the village of St Suzanne in the neighbouring department of Mayenne is Clairbois, the Medieval Centre – the Knights Manor. This site is a re-creation of a small village of the medieval times around the year 1250a.d. with jousting shows and much more and under 25 miles from Le Jarrier. bulletA short drive from Le Jarrier is the lake and forest of Sille-le-Guillanme with lake side bars and restaurants, beach, pedalos and various walks and mountain bike tracks around the lake and through the forest.
